For
Dancers:
CBD is a professional contemporary ballet company
in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area is seeking experienced and enthusiastic dancers (both male and female) for the 2010-2011 season.
A 10-15 hr/week rehearsal schedule includes technical training in ballet, modern, jazz, & improvisation.
Advanced
level in pointe, ballet and modern dance, extensive performance experience plus strong training in ballet and good health
and physical condition are necessary. A cooperative, teachable attitude is essential. BA or BFA is preferred. Choreography,
contact improvisation, tap, acting, and teaching experience are helpful.
Please send a resume with at least one reference,
headshot, 3 minute performance video of yourself, or please take one of our Int./Adv Ballet classes offered through the School of CBD.
For choreographers:
Please send a resume, a 5 - 10 minute video of recent work and
an artistic statement describing a work you are interested in creating with CBD. Or, if you have a previously constructed
piece you would like us to consider to be set on the company as part of our repertoire, please include this on the video as
well as a short description of the work.
For composers:Please send a resume, a sample CD of recent work and a short description of how you would like to collaborate
with CBD including any ideas you may already have.
For visual artists and multi-media artists:Please send a resume and a sample of your work (portfolio, photos, DVD,
etc.) and a short description of how you would like to collaborate with CBD including any ideas you may already have.
